With a desire to help in the spread of the good tidings,...

With a desire to help in the spread of the good tidings, I will tell of some of my experiences in Christian Science. So far as our family is concerned, I am alone in Christian Science. About a year ago my mother was very ill with a prevalent complaint which lasted in her case several days. I also experienced the same trouble very severely for a few hours, but through patient application of the truth I was able to continue work and am now well. While closing a mail box not long ago, my finger was caught between the lid and box, but by instantly holding to the truth no suffering was experienced.

For these proofs of spiritual progress I can say, "Thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory." My testimony would not be complete without an expression of appreciation of the unselfish and divinely directed work of Mrs. Eddy, who has given to the world a practical Christianity.
