During a number of years I have looked to the teaching of Christian Science, as found in the Bible and in Mrs. Eddy's writings, for the ordering of my daily life, and I value the experiences of these years as I do those of early childhood, which afford one so much happiness and satisfaction to recall. As it seems to many an inquirer a radical step to depend upon Christian Science for physical aid, I am glad to add that I have found it available in such need, and I believe the divine Principle of Christian Science to be the God of the Bible. In more than one instance, since studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I have been enabled to do my daily work, when threatened by sickness, whereas formerly I should not have had the courage to have attempted the task; thus proving the great practicability of Christian Science. It seems to me that Mrs. Eddy's discovery brought what the poet Lanier looked for when he wrote,—
