I desire to express publicly my gratitude to God for the many blessings received through Christian Science. The healing of my little daughter was to me a most marvelous and wonderful proof of the power of Truth. After her birth she seemed to thrive well, until about the sixth week; then suddenly one evening she was stricken with extreme nausea, which the physician afterward pronounced acute stomach trouble. I laid the child in her crib, and on going to her a short while after this I found her cold and to all appearance lifeless. I was filled with fear, but took the child in my arms, clinging tenaciously to the thought of God as Life, eternal and immutable. In a short while I was able to get a Christian Science practitioner by telephone, and told her of the seeming condition. Her brief declaration of absolute Truth calmed my fear, and my child was restored. Through the persistent and faithful work of the practitioner, she is today a healthy, happy child. My baby boy was also at the age of six weeks in such a condition that he was beyond the aid of a physician. He was unable to retain any food, and the ailment soon developed into a serious bowel disorder, but again the power of Truth saved my child.

I found the truth most efficacious at the birth of my children, having painless parturition. I am indeed grateful for Christian Science and the help it gives me in the training of these little ones. I so often wonder how I could get along without this glorious truth, and I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy for making this way possible for us.
