Christian Science came to us at a time when we were seemingly engulfed in error and disease, and after my wife, who had constantly tried to find relief through medical skill, had failed to obtain it. We attended the services at the Christian Science church, and found that the world is entering into a new sense of life which makes it realize the truth, and this means health, not only physically but also spiritually. We bought Der Herold der Christian Science, also the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, which we studied, and thereby began to discern the power of divine Love, and man as created by God.

I would like to give a brief account of the healing which we have experienced through Christian Science. For eleven years I had suffered with severe hernia and upon medical advice had worn a truss. I tried repeatedly to do without it, but was unable to do so, as the pain would set in the next day. I then tried Christian Science, in June, 1908, and applied the truth, with the result that I improved daily. After two weeks I was free from pain, and since that time have neither worn a support nor have I had a return of this trouble. I awoke one morning with what seemed a serious eye affection. I treated myself in Christian Science, and the healing was accomplished within ten days. Later, I had an attack of illness which lasted three days; a present treatment, was sufficient to overcome that error. I have also overcome irascibility, and my wife envy. With our dear children the healing through Christian Science has been especially quick. One of the children was stricken with deafness and was unable to understand a word, even when we talked very loud; but the child was fully healed within a week. Our little boy was taken with rickets in a severe form, and this disease was completely overcome through Christian Science. In three instances the children were healed of measles within two to five days, the greater part of the healing being accomplished through absent treatment.—Hermann Müller, Berlin, Germany.
