I had always suffered from an affection of the throat,...
I had always suffered from an affection of the throat, and had exhausted the skill of the best specialists for anything like immediate relief. I then turned to Christian Science, and through treatment by a practitioner I was enabled to meet an important engagement (I am a singer) in my usual voice. On several occasions since, I have been relieved, once almost instantly recovering the use of my voice; but, best of all, I feel that I no longer need fear the disease—that it has been met and fully overcome. I have also been cured of numerous annoying minor difficulties, and I feel a consequent freedom for which I cannot be too grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way not only to health, but to a religion that fully satisfies.
Minna Grace Roper, Santa Ana, Cal.
