The Principle of Christian Science is God

The Principle of Christian Science is God. Hence the fundamental of Christian Science has always existed. The mission of Jesus was to show the practical application of this Principle to the needs of mankind, and he healed sickness and sin in demonstration of this Principle. He also taught others how to obtain results by applying this truth, and so gaining that God-given freedom from the ills of the flesh which is man's heritage. Though Jesus' followers for about three hundred years practised his teaching, it finally became obscured by a material world. Mrs. Eddy through her experiences rediscovered this Principle, and by a prayerful and consecrated study of the Bible has succeeded in giving the rules governing this Science to the world, and she has done this in such a way that all who will may understand and apply it.
