LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

London, N.W., England, Jan. 4, 1910.

Beloved Leader:—I am directed by the committee of management to inform you that it is with the greatest joy they are able to tell you that on Jan. 1 a reading-room, under the auspices of First and Second Churches of Christ, Scientist, was opened in the very heart of the business center of the city of London, where there is no resident population. For some time past it has been felt that a reading-room in this locality would benefit a great number of people, and the members of both churches are confident that it will be the means of bringing to thousands a knowledge of the fact that Christian Science is the most practical good obtainable and holds the solution of all the problems of mortal existence. To business men and women these rooms will afford an opportunity, hitherto unavailable, of quiet study, if only for a few moments, in the midst of busy surroundings. We know that you will be glad to hear about this. With love and gratitude

The Committee of Management
J. S. Braithwaite, Secretary.
