I wish to express my deep gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. By its means I have been entirely cured of four serious ailments, also melancholy, and an affection of the heart said to be organic. On account of the latter I was doomed by the doctors to the life of an invalid. Previous to this I had been operated on five times; twice without any anesthetic on account of extreme weakness of the heart. I suffered intensely, and after each attack had increased weakness.

Last winter I was cured in Christian Science of a severe attack of illness, and felt no ill effect from the heart as I had in previous illnesses. This brought to me the happy realization of the statement in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." My little son was cured of serious throat trouble in two treatments; and my little daughter of severe bilious attack and a badly injured leg. Our entire family have received not only physical benefits, but also a great spiritual uplifting which has brought health, peace, and happiness where before there was constant sickness and worriment.

Words are inadequate to express my deep and heart felt grateful for all the blessings received. I never can be grateful enough to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. This truth has brought healing, peace, and joy to this age. It has brought me into the truer sense of life and a deeper and higher understanding of God and His creation. I realize that the truth can be understood and demonstrated here and now. It is my earnest prayer to live and act so as to be worthy of the name Christian Scientist.
