In gratitude for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought to me, and with the hope that it may meet the need of some seeker after Truth, I send this testimony. I began the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" more from a desire to become acquainted with its teachings than with the thought of physical healing. I became completely absorbed in my search for the truth, and in an effort to put into daily practice what I read I soon proved that "right thoughts are reality and power; wrong thoughts are unreality and powerless, possessing the nature of dreams" (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 252). For two years previous to taking up the study of Christian Science, I had suffered from hemorrhoids and had not been able to gain permanent relief. I had a great fear of this trouble, and was constantly seeking some remedy. My healing in Christian Science from this disease was slow but very sure, and for two years I have been entirely free from this trouble.

I am indeed grateful for the physical healing, but more grateful for the spiritual help and understanding that have come through study of the Lesson-Sermons. I have daily cause to be thankful for my understanding of Christian Science, and earnestly desire to live obedient to its teachings, following our Leader even as she follows Christ.
