I feel grateful for the benefits, both spiritual and physical, which I have received from our loving Father through the ministry of Christian Science. I was rendered unfit for my occupation (that of traveling salesman) by a severe attack of rheumatism, which caused me much suffering. I tried all the means prescribed by the medical profession to get relief, but nothing did me any permanent good, and for six or seven years I was subject to intermittent attacks of this distressing malady.

My wife and friends finally prevailed on me to try Christian Science. When I went to a practitioner I was so lame that I had to use sticks, but after the first treatment I went out walking as well as I had ever done, and was without pain or any lameness. The trouble returned, but I kept on with the treatment for three weeks, besides reading Science and Health. I have never felt a symptom of pain since that time. I commenced this reading and treatment in May, 1908, and I am still a student, trying to learn more of God's ways as expressed in the Bible and defined and elucidated by our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, in her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

Surely the light of Christianity which shone upon the Judean hills and plains when our loved Wayshower was on earth, has again been kindled by our dear Leader's exposition of God's word and of our Saviour's life.
