Christian Scientists feel that they have won freedom from mental slavery. They have been healed of suffering, sickness, and misery through Christian Science. Their mental power and ability to judge clearly and rightly have been greatly improved. Prominent business men testify that their knowledge of Christian Science has enabled them to overcome fear, malice, hate, and dishonesty; to become masters of their business in place of slaves, and to accomplish greater and better success.

Christian Scientists have great respect and love for their Leader, who has been so good and pure that the truth has been unfolded to her, enabling her to discern a spiritual interpretation of the Bible which lifts the veil of mystery from its sacred pages and discloses the method which enabled Jesus and the prophets to do signs and wonders.—to heal the sick and raise the dead. The Christian Science text-book teaches the mental and spiritual process of Christian healing, and through its study and the application of its teaching many have been reformed, regenerated, and healed. There are many cases of disease pronounced malignant by physicians and recorded by health officers and boards of health as such, that have been healed by Christian Science. These people know that they are healed, because they now have no sense of disease; there is no more suffering, no more misery, but wholeness, holiness, harmony, joy, and satisfaction in the higher understanding of God's loving care and government which they have gained through the Science of Christianity.
