It is with a heart full of gratitude that I send this testimony concerning my healing, hoping that my experience may prove a help to others. For twenty-six years I suffered, more than words can tell, from what the attending physicians called an abnormal growth. I underwent seven different operations at different times. My suffering was so great that at times I was closely watched, my friends being fearful that I would do violence to myself. Instead of getting better I grew worse, until at last the doctors advised me to try a sea voyage. Following their instructions, I left England and came to America in 1905. I received no benefit by the change, but after a time began to suffer from rheumatic trouble. A friend asked me to try Christian Science for this latter difficulty. I did so, and was soon healed. Having been helped so quickly in this instance, the thought came to me that if I could be healed by Christian Science of one disease, it might be equally good for another, so I continued to take treatment of the same practitioner until I was completely healed of the growth. Where I formerly spent half my time in bed, I am now always well and happy, and am more so than ever before in my life. By the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I find I am able to help myself in many ways.

My earnest desire is to try to follow in the footsteps of our Master, who said, "By their fruits ye shall know them," and my heart goes out in love and reverence to our dear Leader for pointing out for us the way to health and happiness.—Adeline W. Holt, Fall River, Mass.
