Ever since I can remember there was something wrong with my eyes, until Christian Science healed me over a year ago. There seemed to be a mist before my eyes, and sometimes they pained me very much. When I was old enough to go to school, there were times when I could not see the letters in my book, and it hurt more for me to see than it had before. My parents were afraid I might become blind, and they were going to keep me at home and not send me to school any more. Then they began to know about Christian Science and my father took me to a Christian Science practitioner and she treated me. That was the only time I went to the practitioner for treatment, and I do not know how many times I was treated absently, but I do know that my eyes pained me only two times after that. I have gone to school all the time, and sometimes I study my lessons in the evening, but my eyes never hurt me any more and the mist has never been in front of them since that first treatment. At that time I did not think the lady could help me, although she was so kind, for I did not understand how she could get to God and tell Him. Now I know that God is with us all the time, and it was because she knew how much He loves us that she was able to help me. I am so glad that I can see everything plainly, and I wish that everybody in the world could know about Christian Science.
