As our blessings multiply, the duty of telling them to others, that they too may be helped, demands I should give my testimony of gratitude through our matchless periodicals. Although at one time considered delicate in health, I have scarcely missed a day from my office on account of physical indisposition since September, 1895. My children have been repeatedly helped in the minor ailments prevalent among children, and my home has often been freed from the fears of contagion and children's diseases of the more serious character, so that I have reason to know of the great protecting power and prophylactic value of Christian Science.

In my secular work Christian Science has brought me into closer touch with my clients and professional brethren, although some of them think they are opposed to it. Christian Science has made me no less ambitious, but infinitely more contented, and therefore I have done better work. It has also saved me from loss, which is often caused by discontent and by reaching out after other people's money through speculation in the hope of thereby increasing one's own supply. I owe a great deal to the sound sense, devout piety, and loving example of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Christian Science has been the means, in God's providence, of leading me gently by easy steps into happier and safer conditions, revealing in a measure the mission of Christ Jesus to the world, whereby it is saved.—Charles G. Baldwin, Baltimore, Md.
