After six years of faithful study of Christian Science, I wish to express my gratitude for all the blessings it has brought to me and my family. At a time of great physical need, a copy of The Christian Science Journal was sent me, and through the reading of this periodical I was immediately healed of acute and chronic stomach trouble of many years' standing. For three years previous to this nothing had been able to relieve me, everything that was tried seemingly making me worse, as every remedy tried affected the heart so that I could get no rest day or night. I had to be very careful as to what I ate, and for nearly two weeks had not been able to take anything but hot water. After reading the Journal, I ate a light supper and slept all night, very much to the surprise of myself as well as my family. I knew that God's word had been fulfilled, where it reads, "He sent his word, and healed them." From that day I have never doubted that Christian Science is the word of God; that it does heal the sick today as surely as in any age, for the power of God is "the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

The next three weeks was the happiest time I had ever known, for another promise had been fulfilled, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." I then had treatment from a practitioner for about six weeks, and was healed of a severe bowel trouble which had caused a great deal of suffering for about twenty years. This was in April, and the following December I took off the glasses which I had worn for several years, and for three years had not been able to read or do any sewing without them. In the six years since then I have been able to read a great deal, and every evening until a late hour. I was also healed of rheumatic trouble, which at times caused very acute suffering. For relief from all these troubles, and many others, I am truly grateful to God, who not only "forgiveth all thine iniquities," but who also "healeth all thy diseases."

Christian Science has not only helped me to love the Bible more, but has shown me how to prove its promises as "yea, and in him amen." I am deeply grateful to our Leader, through whom this truth has been revealed.
