Among the many privileges conferred upon Christian Scientists today is that of telling the world some of the manifold blessings which they have received from the effectual workings of the Principle of Christian Science as revealed in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I would like to express my gratitude for a demonstration that was made for me in the winter of 1907. I was taken ill with chills and fever. For six hours I struggled with myself, trying to realize the all-presence of God, good, and the nothingness of this erroneous condition, but apparently to no avail. I then called a practitioner, and through her help the trouble was speedily overcome. The fever subsided within an hour, and I was perfectly healed. Previously I had been obliged to remain in bed from two to three weeks at a time with this ailment. I also wish to express my gratitude for the realization of a higher sense of law and order, and the spiritual uplifting which follows this awakening.
