LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Grand Rapids, Mich., Oct. 1, 1909.

Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy, Brookline, Mass.

Beloved Leader:—It is with deepest gratitude that I thank you for your constant watchful prayer of faith, hope, and love, pointing out in Science and Health the ever-governing Principle, Love. Your words in our text-book have just now brought an inexpressible peace and an understanding of God's law to the annihilation of an almost overwhelming sense of failure, dissappointment, and fear. I know that the study of Science and Health will make clear to me how to put this illumination into daily living, whereby I may help others to feel the heaven within—the realization of man's oneness with our Father-Mother God.
