I am very thankful for what Christian Science has done...
I am very thankful for what Christian Science has done for me, and is still doing. One year ago, I was healed of lung trouble in its severest form in less than five weeks. I am the mother of six children, and was taken down with this terrible disease, from which I knew the doctors could not cure me or even give me relief. I had Christian Science treatment, and was entirely healed. Now I am doing all the household duties for my family, and can accommodate others also. Here I wish to state that none of my friends or my family thought I could possibly live through this terrible oredeal. I was so miserable and had become so terribly wasted, that I did not care to see any one or even to speak a word, but now I am in perfect health.
Words fail to express my gratitude for my healing and for the many blessings which have come into my life through Christian Science. I am more than thankful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for bringing this wonderful truth to all mankind. I would also like to tell of a beautiful demonstration that was made in our family. My oldest boy had asthmatic attacks so bad that he could not lie down. The doctor told me that he would outgrow the disease, but it seemed to be getting worse until he began to study Christian Science. This was about a year ago, and he has never had an attack since. Many other wonderful demonstrations we have had in our family, for which we are indeed grateful.
Mrs. Charles Steinmetz, Bakersfield, Cal.
