Almost from the birth of our little one it seemed to be difficult to secure a food that would agree with him. The doctor in attendance was not meeting this condition, which was becoming a serious one. My wife had careful instructions, and was told that unless they were followed fatal results would occur. Things went along this way for several weeks with no change for the better. The doctor admitted at this point that the child might not live three days. After hearing this verdict my wife concluded to have Christian Science treatment. That night when I came home from business she told me that she had dismissed the doctor, and the next morning I telephoned two practitioners who had helped me (a gentleman and his wife). I told them the little fellow had been practically given up, and they agreed to treat him at once and assured me that everything would be all right. After business that day the gentleman made the trip of nearly an hour and a half by train to where we lived, and gave one present treatment, all the rest being absent. It is needless to say the child improved from the start. Christian Science has brought him safely through some seemingly trying conditions since this experience, as also my wife and myself, and always with the most satisfactory results.

We are very grateful for these blessings, as well as for the spiritual uplifting which comes with even a slight understanding of the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader, taken in connection with the Bible.
