For the past eight years I had been in the hands of physicians in connection with a distressing and dangerous disease in my breast. My condition in the last two years became so aggravated that I had to look for some new treatment. When I came to Mexico in November, 1904, I brought with me, under instructions from my physician in Paris, a large quantity of medicines. Six months after reaching Mexico I was attacked by acute throat trouble, from which I suffered terribly. The specialist whom I consulted in this city decided an operation was the only thing that would aid me, and prior to the operation I was treated medically twice a week. At the end of seventy-two visits which I made to this physician, and after which I felt no better but was still in terrible suffering, I had the pleasure of meeting a Jewish lady of this city who had been healed here, and she spoke to me about the benefit to be derived from Christian Science. I immediately left the physician and took treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. At the end of one month I was perfectly well, and the growth on the breast came away. The truth of Christian Science has delivered me from many other ills from which I suffered very much. My only desire is to make this wonderful religion of Christian Science known to every one, for to my thought it is the real religion of God, delivering us from our bodily ills and filling our thought with peace and health. Again and again I thank God and Christian Science for my own healing.
