It has been over two and a half years since we began to rely upon Mind instead of matter. We had tried everything in the way of medicine to cure our little daughter of catarrh of the stomach. The different doctors whom we employed said she must not eat anything either sweet or sour, as so doing would cause large hives to come out all over her body, and we were in despair when we decided to have Christian Science treatment. We called a practitioner, and to our astonishment our little girl was healed in three treatments and was able to eat anything she wished with no ill effects. Since then we have had many beautiful demonstrations of God's power to destroy all forms of error in our family, such as chronic liver complaint, croup, constipation, and catarrh of the appendix. My mother was healed also of gall stones. My baby girl was born under Christian Science treatment, which was another beautiful lesson to us of God's love. At this time I was up the third day and took charge of my household duties on the seventh day. Our baby is the picture of health and a genuine little Scientist. Every mother ought to be a Christian Scientist, as it takes away fear and leaves a sense of Love's power in its stead. To take away our small knowledge of Christian Science would leave us in utter darkness. as we are constantly using our dear Leader's teachings, with the Bible.—Mrs. J. H. Wise, Ashland, Ore.
