More than ten years ago, Christian Science healed me of nervous prostration and other chronic and organic ills. The year previous I spent traveling in Europe in quest of health, but returned home a mental and physical wreck. One year more was devoted to materia medica, taking, however, the statelier step, using homœopathic remedies. After an operation was performed, still without hope, and without God in the world, I turned to Christian Science, knowing nothing of it, and having no faith in it.
God was good to me, and through His precious Word I was made whole; perhaps not every whit whole, for there was yet work to be done.
"A glorious day is dawning." The teaching of Christian Science gave to me the very first knowledge I had of God and gave the understanding of His word, as revealed in our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker G. Eddy. Through this understanding of Truth, tears have been wiped from my eyes, confort in deepest sorrow has been mine. Can any one wonder that we love God as never before, and our beloved Leader with hearts full of love and gratitude?
