Jesus said, "I and my Father are one," also, "my Father is greater than I," the greater cannot be limited to the lesser.

Christian Science teaches that man is at one with God, even as a ray from the sun is inseparable from the sun, though one could not logically state that the ray was the sun or that it ever would be. Divine Science includes all truth and denies supposition. God's universe reflects the infinite,—omnipresent Mind,—but the reflection of the Creator is not the Creator, any more than one's image in a looking-glass is himself.

Because man and the universe reflect Deity, Christian Scientists declare that the real universe and man are perfect, and they try to realize it.
