A Welcome Letter

We give special prominence to the following letter received by Mrs. Eddy, because it shows keen discernment of the import and importance of the By-laws of the Mother Church, and especially the By-law, "Church Organizations Ample," recently published in the Sentinel and Journal, and in the forty-first edition of the Church Manual. This By-law has awakened wide-spread interest, and has been the subject of considerable favorable comment in the newspapers.

We are confident that Mr. Goodwin's words will help others to see the great spiritual significance of the code prepared by our beloved Leader for the guidance of her Church, and we may be sure that this letter has given her great satisfaction, because it proves that the seeds of Truth which she has sown, have not fallen in "stony places," but "into good ground, and brought forth some an hundredfold, some sixty fold, some thirty fold."
