HOW MARGARET WAS HEALED

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Margaret and her sister were staying at the seaside for a few days in the home of their aunts. One day it rained, but towards the end of the morning the sun came out, and the two girls decided that in the afternoon they would go for a long walk with their cousin.

After lunch Margaret helped to dry the dishes and to put them away. As she was doing so, one glass plate slipped from the shelf and broke, and a large piece of glass struck her leg.

When the aunts, who were not students of Christian Science, saw the cut, they were quite troubled and said that they thought perhaps she should go to a hospital and have the cut cared for. But Margaret was not troubled. She had been going to a Christian Science Sunday School for several years, and her mother and father were also studying Christian Science. She was learning that God is good and is everywhere and that anything which is not good is not true.
