Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Lynbrook, New York (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Lynbrook, will formally dedicate its church edifice at services on Sunday, May 4, at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. All are invited to attend.

Interest in Christian Science was first evidenced in Lynbrook when a small group of its students met to read the Lesson-Sermons, found in the Christian Science Quarterly. Regular Sunday morning services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings were started on April 4, 1915, in a place called Simonson's Hall, in the business district.
