It is with a deep sense of gratitude for Christian Science that I wish to share my blessings with others. This Science was first introduced into our home when my father was healed of an advanced case of tuberculosis of the lungs after the doctor who was in attendance had given him up. After the prayerful work of a Christian Science practitioner who helped him and his family to know that God alone heals, my father was able to resume his farm work, and he continued it for more than twenty years.

Through the understanding that God is Love, I was healed of various difficulties, including the aftereffects of whooping cough. These healings led me to take up the study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

I have been greatly protected while bringing up my family. Christian Science has never failed when correctly applied and steadfastly relied upon. Many problems have been solved, some with my own work, and others with the help of practitioners. So-called contagious diseases, effects of accidents, and a case of diphtheria were healed in a short while. I have experienced painless childbirth, and through treatment by a practitioner I have been healed of arthritis. One lesson I have learned is that no occupation should be so demanding that it can deter us from our daily study of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly.
