TRUTH HEALS
Christ Jesus promised mankind that his words would not be lost, for he said (John 14:26), "The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
In the year 1866 Mary Baker Eddy discovered the Science of Christianity and later gave it to the world in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." When we understand and live the teaching given us in this textbook, we must acknowledge that this Science is the promised Comforter, because through its action we find that sickness gives place to health, sin to reformation, lack to abundance, criticism to good will, enmity to friendship, hate to love. As we utilize the truths of Science, we rise above mortal sense testimony into the spiritual reality of being, which we find to be man's true selfhood, the reflection of the one Father-Mother God.
God, infinite, creative Mind, Spirit, Soul, knows that His creation manifests His perfect qualities, for we are told in the first chapter of Genesis, "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Thus, in the real creation there is no discord, lack, sickness, sin, or death because all is spiritual, eternally beautiful, orderly, good. Mortal errors are the opposites of harmony, life, abundance, and love, and they have the semblance of existence only so long as wrong beliefs are entertained in human consciousness.
