Many Christian Scientists who travel on ocean-going liners are happily and generously sharing with their fellow passengers the blessings of their religion through Christian Science church services on shipboard.
For the help and inspiration I have received from the testimonies in our periodicals and at the Wednesday testimony meetings in Churches of Christ, Scientist, I wish to express my sincere gratitude.
During the years that I have earnestly studied Christian Science the testimonies in the periodicals have been read with interest, but for some time I doubted that I possessed the courage necessary to turn to God should a physical need arise.
In referring to The Christian Science Monitor, Mary Baker Eddy states in "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany".
For many years I have been comforted, blessed, and healed by the articles and testimonies in our beloved periodicals, and I feel that it is time to add my tithe of gratitude for Christian Science.
Through the study and application of Christian Science I have received many blessings and healings over a period of about twenty-five years.
Over twenty-five years ago, while living in the Pacific Islands, I was led to turn to Christian Science, and since then it has been my guide, physician, and friend.
It is with deep gratitude for the many blessings which we have experienced in our home over a period of many years that I send this testimony.
I first became interested in Christian Science about eighteen years ago.
