OUR FATHER'S BUSINESS

[Of Special Interest to Young People]

A Girl in her late teens entered a Christian Science Sunday School. Immediately she became deeply interested in what she was taught. She grasped at once the fact that this religion teaches one how to heal through the understanding of God's omnipotent goodness, and the new concept seemed both wonderful to and natural for her. Her family, impressed by the healing of one of its members, also began attending the Church of Christ, Scientist, at this time. It soon became known in the neighborhood that these people were students of a religion that heals by prayer.

One day a neighbor said casually to the girl: "I've got ivy poisoning. What would a Christian Scientist do about that?"

The girl did not brush off the question with a glib reply. She turned to God for guidance as to what to answer. When she spoke it was to say earnestly, "I'll come over this evening and explain what a Christian Scientist does for ivy poisoning."
