It is with deep gratitude for the many blessings which we have experienced in our home over a period of many years that I send this testimony.

Thirty-four years ago my youngest daughter, aged six, was lying ill, having been given up by two doctors, who said she was dying. One morning the head of the department where my husband worked called, for he had heard of our need. He was a Christian Scientist. On being shown into the child's bedroom where I was in attendance, he reassured me and quoted the verse from the Bible (Ps. 121:1), "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help." My thought was much uplifted as I realized the meaning of those words. He handed me the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and asked me to read it. This I did for the rest of the day and that night. The next morning my child was well. She is now a young woman with a family of her own.

I am most grateful for membership in The Mother Church, for the joy of sharing in the activities of a branch church, and for the privilege of class instruction. I have had many healings, some with the help of a practitioner and others through my own work. Among them was the healing of grief caused by the passing of a loved one.
