RADIO PROGRAM No. 188 - "And he shall lift you up"
Speaker: Throughout the Bible we find the comforting message that the power of God is always at hand to lift us up, to bring release from pain and sorrow of every kind. The gentle presence of divine Love can heal grief and despair arising from the loss of a loved one.
Our guest, Mrs. Edna Potter Boone of Coral Gables, Florida, will tell us how she found this true, how she found sorrow and grief replaced with joy and peace. Will you tell us about it, Mrs. Boone?
Mrs. Boone: This occurred one Sunday morning a good many years ago. I was getting ready for church, and word reached my husband and me that our only child had been instantly killed in an automobile accident. He was a fine young man, and he'd just passed his bar examinations and had a promising future in law.
