I should like to express my deep gratitude for the healing and sustaining power of Christian Science and especially for the spiritual growth gained during the healing of a broken wrist.

The morning after the bone had been set by a physician, an X ray revealed that it had slipped out of place, and I was told that the setting would have to be done over again. I was very much disturbed by this verdict and asked if I might consider it for a while. The doctor pointed out that the resetting was necessary and gave me until the following morning to decide. Great fear possessed me, and I turned to God in prayer. Very soon I felt assured of His love and protection.

After making my decision to trust God and rely on spiritual healing alone, I was still tempted by much fear and pain. However, I had the loving support of a Christian Science practitioner, and I abandoned all thought of having the bone reset.
