About twenty-five years ago I was going through an unhappy period. Several persons whom I met from time to time advised me to take up the study of Christian Science, but I did not do so until I met the woman who was later to become my wife. She encouraged me to start attending services in a Church of Christ, Scientist.

The first healings I had were those of the tobacco and alcohol habits. I asked a Christian Science friend to help me to overcome the tobacco habit, and as a result of the consecrated prayers of this friend it soon left me. The desire for alcohol left soon thereafter, although I had not asked for help on it, because it had less hold on me. These healings took place about twenty years ago, and since then there has been no desire for either tobacco or alcohol.

On arising one morning some years ago, I was seized with dizziness, and I had to lie down again. I had to make several attempts to get up before I could remain on my feet. I telephoned a practitioner and in one treatment had a complete healing. The dizziness never occurred again.
