THE SEED WITHIN ITSELF
In the first chapter of Genesis, which presents the account of God's spiritual creation, we read that God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth."
Every man, woman, and child upon the earth has within himself the seed of Truth, the unfolding and sustaining activity of divine Mind. The seed of Truth points to the power of the Christ, to perfect manhood and divine sonship. This seed of Truth, the intelligence and activity of divine Mind individually expressed, is the divine influence, the goodness and power of God, which is ever unfolding to mankind.
The Christian Scientist, knowing that he has the seed of Christ, Truth, within himself, can meet and destroy the false claims of evil and demonstrate health and harmony for himself and others.
