London, England (Eighth Church).

Large congregations attended the dedication services of Eighth Church of Christ, Scientist, Acre Lane, Brixton, which were held on Sunday [July 14, 1957].

In May, 1905, students of Christian Science in South London began to hold informal services in a private house in Clapham. In July, 1909, Christian Science Society, Brixton, came into being, and a Sunday School was opened the following September.
