The blessings that have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science have been many. My introduction to this Science came when I was eleven years old, and my mother enrolled me in the Sunday School. The truths taught concerning God and man's relationship to Him were a great comfort and inspiration to me at that early age. and I loved the Sunday School from the first

The spiritual laws, embodied in the Ten Commandments. in the Beatitudes. and in the Lord's Prayer, with its spiritual interpretation, given on pages 16 and 17 of Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, were a constant guide to me and a staff on which to lean. I learned that through obedience to divine law, problems are solved. and I earnestly endeavored to live in accordance with the teachings of our two textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health.

In those early years. family situations presented themselves for solution which appeared momentous for a young person either to have to endure or to overcome. However, these proved to be only testing times, which had the effect of forcing me to turn unreservedly to divine Mind for guidance and for the solution to these problems.
