In 1954, at a time of very great distress, our family was led to Christian Science. My husband was in a hospital, suffering from what was described as an incurable case of leukemia, and it was said that he had not long to live. The faithful work of a Christian Science practitioner helped my husband to renewed health. Since then we have experienced many blessings. It is with joy that I should like to relate some of them. Sciatica and rheumatism were healed. Chills and colds, which used to be common and often had serious and chronic aftereffects, are now rare. Whenever manifested, they are quickly overcome with the help of a practitioner.

Before we knew of this wonderful Christ, Truth, we had a large assortment of medicines in our medicine cabinet. I was in the habit of taking seven to ten tablets a day to rid myself of headaches. After my husband's wonderful healing, I threw all the medicines into the trash can, and since then Christian Science has been our only physician and our only medicine. The headaches I had formerly so dreaded have disappeared from my experience.

My greatest desire is to grow in understanding and to be filled with selfless love so that I may one day be able to help others as we have been helped.
