Words alone can never express my gratitude to God for the many blessings and healings we have had in our family since taking up the study of Christian Science more than twenty-five years ago. Now I want to acknowledge my gratitude to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for giving to the world the textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

Before finding this Science I had attended many different churches. I was not satisfied with the thought that God is good but sends evil, and I was longing for a true concept of God. In 1930 I was invited to my first Wednesday testimony meeting in a Church of Christ, Scientist. The testimonies of healing were bright promises for me. Not long afterward I took up the study of Christian Science.

As a young girl I had earache most of the time. One night I awakened with the condition in its most painful state. My first thought was of a material remedy, but like a flash the thought came, "Turn to God in prayer." I repented the Lord's Prayer until I fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning I was healed. That was a wonderful experience.
