I feel that it is not only a privilege...

I feel that it is not only a privilege but also a duty to express my gratitude to God for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for the many blessings I have received through the application of Christian Science.

Christian Science was introduced into our home when I was a child. My mother had been ill for eight years and was under the care of doctors, who were treating her for cancer of the stomach, a tumor, tuberculosis of the bowels, and a nervous breakdown. When she was said to be passing on, we were urged to try Christian Science. She improved at once, and in less than two weeks she was sitting up and taking solid food for the first time in over two years. That was more than forty-five years ago, and her healing has remained permanent.

I am grateful that I had the privilege of attending Christian Science Sunday School and also that my three sons have all attended. Some of our healings have been those of asthma, smallpox, paralyzed limbs, migraine, mumps, measles, broken bones, laryngitis, and warts. Protection was experienced in a car accident in which the car was completely demolished, and financial problems have been solved.
