When I was a young child, Christian Science came into our home through the beautiful healing of my mother of a serious internal condition. I can never be grateful enough for the teaching and help I received in the Christian Science Sunday School during my early years, for they gently guided my thinking into constructive channels and gave me a deep love for this practical religion. I have had wonderful protection throughout the years, many physical healings, proofs of supply, and guidance whenever I have turned to the one Mind for a message.

My little sons, who have lived in India and Ceylon since babyhood, have been protected from various so-called childhood ailments and epidemics, and they have had quick healings of fever.

I should like to relate an experience which took place on our last leave in England. One morning, soon after we had arrived, I was attacked by a sinus infection, which had manifested itself previously. I opened the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," to page 200, where Mrs. Eddy writes, "The great truth in the Science of being, that the real man was, is, and ever shall be perfect, is incontrovertible; for if man is the image, reflection, of God, he is neither inverted nor subverted, but upright and Godlike." I tried to see that the discordant condition was not true, and never had been true, since man, the reflection of God, is "the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (Hebr.13:8).
