INSTANTANEOUS HEALING

Pure white Christ, sunshine of eternal Love,
Filled my entire being,
Lifting me above
All pain, fear, and doubt,
Nothing there but bright reality—
No devil to cast out.

Instant was my release:
Soul breathed, sense sighed and fled.
A sure surcease: "No life,
No truth, among the senses dead
In matter. All is Mind."
Nothing there to dread!

Gentle light which set me free,
Radiant with Christ's purity,
Was proof of God's almighty power.
The letter hushed, Spirit spoke;
In my nighted hour
I awoke.
