For quite some time I have wanted to send in a testimony in regard to the helpfulness of Christian Science. Each day brings more blessings and more gratitude; so it is hard to tell in a few words all that Christian Science means to me.

When I was about eight years old, my father was healed through Christian Science of rheumatism in the last stages. After that I had the privilege of attending Sunday School, but I did not take an earnest interest in Science until everything began to go wrong. My marriage was not very happy, our little boy had a hernia from birth, and lack was always with us.

From time to time I had Christian Science help for our boy, but his healing was not completed until I started prayerful work for him myself. After I began wholeheartedly to seek an understanding of God and of man's relation to Him, these words from the Bible became clear to me (II Cor. 5:8): "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." Our son was healed of the hernia and subsequently played football, passing all his physical examinations with a mark of 100 per cent. For his healing I am very grateful.
