"Thou wilt keep him in perfect...

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee" (Isa. 26:3). A heart overflowing with gratitude for the many blessings I have witnessed prompts the sending of this testimony. My thought garden is filled with flowers of peace, joy, health, and beauty which I wish to share with others.

Early in my earnest study of Christian Science a case of mental surgery was witnessed not only by our immediate family but also by friends, and the experience has been a beacon to us all. Our small daughter broke her arm. Her father, knowing that I wanted the child taken to a practitioner, who had helped us before, put her in our car, and I calmly got in also. The practitioner was not at home when we arrived, but I refused to accept the fearful suggestions of material sense and was undismayed. As we walked back to the car we saw the practitioner coming down the street. After spending about an hour with her while she declared the truth concerning God and man's relationship to Him, we returned to our residence.

I put the child in her bed and retired to my room, leaving her in the Father's care, knowing that His loving arm encircles all. The operation of divine law was so much in evidence that within a week the child was in her place at the appointed time for a piano lesson. Her arm was soon as well as ever.
