Many years ago I turned to Christian Science for healing. For weeks I had been suffering from a nervous breakdown, and I had just about lost hope when Christian Science was brought to my attention. I immediately purchased the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and began the study of it. At the end of one month's study and with the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed. The peace and freedom that then came to me were so wonderful that I shall never cease to be grateful. This healing has been permanent, as have other healings, such as those of severe pain, fatigue, dizziness, weakness, and many more too numerous to mention. Grief has been overcome, and mental surgery has been performed.

Although I am grateful for all of these healings, I am much more grateful to have found a God who is Love, "a very present help in trouble," to whom we can turn at all times. As our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, says on page 140 of Science and Health, "The Christian Science God is universal, eternal, divine Love, which changethnot and causeth no evil, disease, nor death."

The spiritual growth that has been mine as the result of consecrated study of the Christian Science textbook and all of our Leader's other writings is very precious to me. For membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, together with the joyous privilege of serving in the latter, and for class instruction, I am profoundly grateful.—(Mrs.) Ada M.
