It is now more than twenty-five years since my first testimony was published in the Sentinel. I wish to express again my gratitude for the blessings of health, happiness, peace, and spiritual understanding which have come to me as a result of my study of Christian Science. Before I found this Science I was suffering from insomnia, stomach trouble, and confusion of thought. I had an extremely gloomy outlook on life. These troubles have all been overcome through reliance on Truth.

Most of the past thirty-five years has been spent in foreign countries, sometimes in places where there were no Christian Scientists except our small family of three. While in Central Asia we had many trials of our faith. When fear and sickness arose, we were helped at different times by practitioners in Paris, France, and Los Angeles, California, to whom we sent cablegrams and radio messages.

Immediately after he was born, our son appeared unable to breathe; but this difficulty was overcome by the prompt work of a Christian Science practitioner. When my husband was in West Africa and no other Scientist was near, he became very ill with a tropical fever. He asked for help by a radio message, which those with him said was unintelligible. They sent it, however, as they thought he was passing on. Shortly afterward he recovered enough to travel, and he soon regained his good health.
