Space will not permit my relating the many blessings that I have received through the study and application of Christian Science, which is set forth in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

During my childhood many so-called children's diseases were met and mastered by my mother's unwavering reliance on divine Principle. At one time I appeared to be passing on with double pneumonia. Not once did she admit the reality of the apparent discord, but remained steadfast in her understanding of man's perfection as the reflection of God. The veil of mortal fear was lifted, and I was restored to complete health.

Through the years I have been healed of a misplaced vertebra, stomach ulcers, broken bones, ovarian cysts, and the effects of exposure to extreme cold. When our little son was bitten by a dog thought to be rabid, his father, who was not a Christian Scientist, insisted that the child undergo treatment for rabies. An unpleasant picture of his expected reactions to the injections was orally painted by the physician, and I was told to prepare myself for a wretched experience.
