Dear Friends:

To this gathering of members of The Mother Church we extend cordial greetings.

Christian Science has greatly blessed every individual in this audience. That is why you are members of The Mother Church. That is why you are here today. The activities of our great movement need the prayerful support of each church member. Through the teachings of Christian Science the light of Truth is illuming the universe, reaching into the dark corners of human thought and revealing the grandeur and omnipotence of God's glory and goodness. Every one of the periodicals published by The Christian Science Publishing Society radiates this light wherever it goes, bringing inspiration to the seeker for Truth, healing to the sufferer, spiritual freedom to the sinner. What a privilege is ours to work for such a movement!
