There is always much to be grateful...
There is always much to be grateful for when one is using Christian Science in his daily living. I am especially grateful for the testimonies in our periodicals. We live in a small town where there is no Church of Christ, Scientist, and consequently no Wednesday testimony meetings. The published testimonies therefore help fill a need.
Several years ago we had proof of God's loving care in a healing of our older son. We never named the condition, but it was most disagreeable. Local people criticized our failure to have medical help, as the healing was slow. When we asked our son if he wished such help, however, he replied that we had had many wonderful healings in Christian Science and that he would rely only on God's help. Before long the healing was complete.
Some time ago, after an attack of influenza, I felt as though I were passing on. I asked for the help of a practitioner, and soon I was free.
