The Rochdale Observer of [recent date] reprinted an extract from a lecture delivered twenty-five years ago ... and it is interesting to see what great strides have been made in the intervening years. This is particularly so regarding the statement attributed to the then Bishop of Manchester regarding Christian Science. A paean of praise has gone up during the twenty-five years from those who have been healed of "all manner of diseases" even in the town of Rochdale, as well as elsewhere.

Today the public and the churches are seriously inquiring into the question of "Spiritual Healing" and none would consider the question "imbecile."
